Our Festive Afternoon Tea includes savouries such as mini Yorkshire Pudding with Roast Turkey & Cranberry Sauce, Smoked Salmon Finger Sandwich with Cucumber, Cream Cheese & Dill Mousse and our home-made sweet treats including freshly made Fruit Scones with Clotted Cream & Strawberry Preserve, Christmas Pudding Cupcake.

Unlimited tea & coffee included.

Warm up with one of our Christmas hot drinks, add a shot of caramel, vanilla, coconut or cinnamon flavoured syrup.  Indulge in a liqueur hot drink with Baileys or Spiced Bacardi to get you in that feeling of Christmas. We also have our exclusive Hamiltons cocktails available.

Did you know that Afternoon Tea was initially developed as a private social event for ladies who were of high society. It was only when Queen Victoria engaged in the Afternoon Tea ritual that it became a formal occasion on a larger scale, known as ‘tea receptions’. It evolved as a mini meal to stem the hunger and anticipation of an evening meal at 8pm. Afternoon Tea is a meal composed of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, sweet pastries and cakes

Afternoon Tea has now become a social event whether it’s just a gathering of friends & family getting together for a catch up, celebrating a birthday, engagement, hen party or baby shower.

Hamiltons Afternoon Tea has a selection of savoury and sweet treats. Our new spinach wrap filled with tandoori spiced chicken, red onion, bell pepper & mayonnaise, including a traditional smoked salmon & cucumber finger sandwich, classic homemade fruit scone with clotted cream & strawberry preserve and a selection of chef’s homemade treats.

Hamiltons don’t only offer Afternoon Tea for the Ladies, we have created our exclusive Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea.  This platter is based on more masculine meaty, savoury options, featuring our new spinach wrap filled with tandoori spiced chicken, red onion, bell pepper & mayonnaise, cajun spiced chicken and prawn skewer, black pudding scotch egg, mini beef and pickled gherkin burger, spicy parmesan fries also there is that need for a little sweetness so there are a few traditional sweet treats including classic homemade fruit scone with clotted cream & strawberry preserve

We also now have our menu available for guests with special dietary requirements whether you are vegetarian, vegan, dairy free or egg free, we cater for everyone including children.

Make your own Hamiltons Mojito

Have a go at making our Mojito Cocktail during this hot summer

Mojito Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 6 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 50ml Lime Juice
  • 1tsp Brown Sugar
  • Large Scoop of Ice
  • Lemonade
  • 50 ml Bacardi

Instructions:

  1. Crush your mint.
  2. Combine your mint, Bacardi, lime juice, and brown sugar & ice in a cocktail shaker
  3. Give the cocktail shaker a good vigorous shake for about 15 seconds until chilled.
  4. Strain into a glass and top with lemonade
  5. Garnish with mint leaves and a lime wedge
  6. And serve

Leave out the Bacardi to make a Virgin Mojito, or if you want a flavoured mojito add peach or strawberry puree.

Charity fundraiser for Legacy 4 Lucy

Hamiltons Restaurant needs your help and support this July to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Research.

Our exciting Pink Afternoon Tea July event will be donating all profits to Legacy 4 Lucy, a charity supporting Breast Cancer Now. 

We will be teaming up with local Wolverhampton businessman Jason Guy who has raised over £200k for Legacy 4 Lucy.

Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea is not just for the ladies, sometimes a savoury treat seems to be an appealing option for men

Hamiltons Restaurant offers the best Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea Experience for men in Wolverhampton.

Our Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea was crafted for “the men” as an alternative pre-match lunch before a football game at the Wolves. So, if Dad, Son and Grandad were going out for a “Generation Boys Lunch” celebrating an occasion before the game then this suits extremely well as a mid-afternoon treat.

This platter is based on more masculine meaty, savoury options, featuring a black pudding scotch egg, mini beef burger and a cajun spiced chicken & prawn skewer. Also, there is that need for a little sweetness so there are a few traditional sweet treats included, such as our traditional fruit scone with clotted cream and jam and our chef’s shot glass dessert of the day.

We have an extensive range of whiskies at Hamiltons Restaurant. The single malt whiskey was introduced under the concept that a whiskey drinker takes time to enjoy and savour the flavours and aromas a single malt offers. Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea isn’t by all means a quick occasion, it also needs time to be eaten. Customers can choose two whiskies of their choice from our bar, usually enjoyed at the end of Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea.

Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea with Whiskey at Hamiltons Restaurant and a Banks’s Brewery Tour which includes a 1 hour guided tour and 3 half pints at the end.

Book your Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea Experience with Hamiltons Restaurant and take advantage of free parking.

Tours are available Wednesdays and Fridays 11am, 2pm and Saturday 12pm, 2pm

However, the platter has proved to be very popular with the ladies too! For those who can’t palette too much sweet food and prefer more sandwiches than cakes.
